Custom Printing
Most of our menu covers can be customized with your logo or establishment name by fabricating a metal die to imprint your logo onto your product. Foil stamping (imprinting and recessing with color), Blind Debossing (imprinting and recessing without color) and Embossing (a raised stamp) are available. You can also choose from select products or styles that utilize a full color image.
LOGO REQUIREMENTS FOR FOIL STAMPING
Please email your logo to info@hrisch.com in one of the following formats: Black & White .eps, .ai (recommended), 300dpi .jpg or .tif format at full size, Fine lines, 5pt minimum, Lettering 24pt minimum.
ARTWORK RE-WORK FEES
Logos not submitted in a usable format may be subject to a $90 / hour rework charge with your approval.
TYPESETTING
A $90.00 charge will be applied if you require typesetting. This is in addition to the artwork die charge of $120.00.
Please provide your recommended font style, font size (lettering 24pt minimum), as well as your layout and positioning of the text on the cover.
LOGO LOCATIONS
Logos can be printed in the location of your choice (within cover limitations), however, most customers choose one of the following options:
- Optical Center: About 1/3 down from the top of the cover
- Dead Center: Centered both vertically and horizontally
- Lower Right Hand Corner
A one time die fee of $120.00 (not incurred on re-orders unless the logo or logo size changes) will be assessed for each potential color. A $2.00 double run fee will be applied for each additional foil color per menu cover.
FOIL STAMPING AND COLORS
This process involves the fabrication of a metal die that imprints your logo onto the product with the application of foil colors. Some materials may become recessed where the foil imprint is applied. Please note that foil chemical properties can vary from color to color and, therefore, certain product / foil combinations may not be appropriate. Color proofs are provided via email at no additional charge with the receipt of a purchase order.
STANDARD FOIL COLORS
Gold, Silver, Black – Other colors may be available upon request.
BLIND DEBOSSING
This process involves the fabrication of a metal die that imprints and recesses your logo into the product without the application of foil. Color proofs are provided via email at no additional charge with the receipt of a purchase order.
EMBOSSING
This process involves the fabrication of a metal die that creates a raised logo on your product without the application of foil. This option is currently only available for Patina materials. Color proofs are provided via email at no additional charge with the receipt of a purchase order.
DIGITAL ARTWORK
Art must be 300dpi at full size, and in .jpg or .tif format. Set up fees are: 99 covers or less = $200.00,
100 covers or more = $125.00.
LASER ENGRAVING
This process involves laser engraving into a real wood composite. A one time $120.00 die fee applies to this process. Vector artwork (.eps or .ai) is required. Oversized logos may incur an additional pre-approved fee.
PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLES
Orders for customized samples of products prior to full production runs can be produced. An additional labor / setup fee of $90.00 will also apply. A one time $120.00 die fee will apply (not incurred again on full order placement unless the logo or logo size changes).
PROOFS
Color Proofs / Spec Sheets are provided via email at no additional charge for all customized products. Proof approval must be verified and returned via email or fax prior to order proceeding to production. Please note that some changes to proofs may be chargeable.

QUOTES
Quotes assist you in the overall assessment of your menu cover project. The quote provided will give you an estimate of the overall pricing on the potential order. All shipping quotes are estimated, shipping costs may change at the time of actual shipment of products.
ORDERS
Orders may be placed by Fax, Online, Email, Verbal (with written confirmation; we are not responsible for errors resulting from verbal orders). We reserve the industry-standard right to ship and bill for 5% over or under the quantity ordered. The following product information is required for menu cover order placement:
Cover Name (style): insert size, # of views, quantity, foil stamp color or blind deboss (if applicable).
MINIMUMS
Minimums are set to provide you with the best available price. Some non-customized items can be produced for less than the stated minimums, however a $90.00 fee would be applied to do so. Please call for more information.
SIZES
All sizes referenced in this catalog are the actual insert size (insert = paper). For example, when ordering an 8.5 x 11 menu cover, the inserts going into each pocket will measure 8.5 x 11. Custom sizes are available in most menu cover styles. Please call for more information.
TERMS
Established open accounts are expected to pay within the agreed terms of the invoice date. We reserve the right to place accounts on hold with overdue balances. Non-established accounts ship either Prepaid or COD. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, certified checks, company checks and money orders are accepted. Personal checks are not accepted. We reserve the right to request a certified check or money order.
The following information is required for payment via credit card:
Credit Card #, Credit Card Expiration Date, Name (exact) on Credit Card, Credit Card (exact) Billing Address.
MATERIAL COLORS
Color representations in this catalog and on our website (www.hrisch.com) may vary slightly from actual material colors. Material colors can also vary based on dye lots. Material swatches are available for all products upon request for precise color matching.
MATERIAL STYLE / PATTERN
Material style / pattern may vary due to upgrades that have been made after the printing of this catalog. Please contact us to request a current material swatch if needed.
SAMPLES
One free sample per customer of most products (shipping included) is available upon request. Some samples are billable and non-returnable. Shipping method is at our discretion, however, chargeable expedited shipping is available.
SALES KITS
Sales kits are available for a nominal charge, and include a variety of selections from the Risch product line.
PRODUCTION LEAD TIMES
Production lead times may vary by season and demand. Please advise of deadlines as every effort will be made to accommodate reasonable requests. Chargeable expedited shipping is also available if needed.
SHIPPING
Shipping and Handling charges are FOB Rochester, NY. All orders are shipped via UPS unless otherwise specified. Risch is not responsible for delays in transit. Customers may provide their own UPS and FedEx and account numbers, if preferable. Priority Ship Dates may be available for customized orders. Chargeable expedited shipping may be necessary to accommodate your deadlines.

RETURNS
A Return Authorization (RA) number is mandatory and may be issued by a Customer Service Representative within 10 days of the customers receipt of the product. For ID purposes, Return Authorization Numbers must be clearly marked on the outside of all packages being returned.
- Returns must be received within 10 days of Return Authorization Number being issued.
- An authorized return may be returned for replacement or credit, less a 20% restocking fee and only after inspection and approval.
- Shipping charges (both ways) are the responsibility of the customer.
- All returns must be in new condition (not used in any way).
- Customized and non-stock items are non-returnable.
CLEANING AND STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS
Products should be maintained by wiping exterior with a slightly damp cloth. No chemicals should be used on any products.
We do not recommend menu boxes for storage.
